Susan Fendler RYT500
Owner Yoga Awakening
Susan found her love for yoga over 20 years ago through the studies of Jon Kabat-Zinn’s MBSR (mindfulness-based stress reduction program). Susan believes in finding each student’s individual strengths and joyfully guides them to reach their full potential. Her spirit and intuitive nature bring her students to a higher level of physical and spiritual practice. Her classes incorporate Vinyasa flow, Hatha, Ashtanga, and Anusara. Susan’s spirit is reflected when she often plays her harmonium and singing bowls during meditation and savasana. Incorporating her love of music, she has also choreographed many classes designed for special events and holidays. Her classes’ main emphasis is on proper alignment and working all the body areas so that both internal physical and mental healing can occur. Susan is the founder of Park City Spa Yoga which works privately with clients combining yoga, massage, and assisted stretching. Susan has her Anusara® Inspired Certification and RYT® 500 from Triguna Yoga in Rishikesh, India. She also holds a Masters’s degree in Music. Opening Park City School of Yoga was a dream come true. Eli Kagan -RYT500
Among other things, Elijah is a Sattva Himalyan Kundalini teacher. He studied in Rishikesh India with his guru and master Ananad Meherotra. Each practice with Elijah is a tailor made progression, combining emotional release techniques as well as kriya and asana, designed towards enlightenment and transformation. Elijah found Kundalini while traveling in Thailand, after an honorable discharge from the military, as he “randomly” met a traveling yogi that opened him up to the ancient teachings of Tantra. Since then Elijah has been learning and teaching around the world in countries such as India, Sri Lanka, Czech Republic, Israel, Sweden, and the USA. With a deep devotion to the practice Elijah is currently studying western philosophy and psychology to gain greater understanding of mankind and how to aid in bringing others to empowerment and true actualization.
